2008 Melody Miles Winners:

Mark Mayall won the men's 5 mile race with a time of 26:29 for a new course record and a cash prize of $50.

Kathryn Hatch won the women's 5 mile race 31:09 for a new course record and a cash prize of $50. They each won a new pair of Asics shoes.

The 5 km races were won by Tina Dowling (18:57) and Tyler Brannen (17:52). They also each won a new pair of Asics shoes.

LOCATION

Melody Miles Race begins at Winthrop Elementary School, Route 1A, Hamilton and ends at Patton Park just across the street. Walk-in racers are welcome to register from 9 to 9:50 a.m. Races Begin at 10 and fun run at 10:45

The scenic and very harmonious Melody Miles features the beautiful terrain of Hamilton and Wenham, and the voices and instruments of various Hamilton-Wenham student music ensembles.

The Melody Miles Fun Run, organized by Pro Musica, supports instrumental and choral music for youth in Hamilton and Wenham.
